Prom!

Hiii!

Today I want to talk a bit about this weekend! I started my degree four years ago and on Saturday we had our prom ceremony (even if we haven't actually taken the final exams). My parents and my grandmother came to celebrate too. We had some little "problem" at the beginning but after that, everything went smoothly. I was on stage directing the act, so when they were going to put on the sash on me, I had to say my own name... ._.U

¡Holaa!

It's been four years full of ups and downs, but I had the chance to meet a dear friend (the one in the picture with me) and thanks to her I could cope with all the boring classes that we had together and also improve a bit my Russian. We had some very good moments together, like taking the last minute decision of going to Italy to visit my family or getting a scholarship to go to Russia two summers ago. She is truly one of a kind and I wish her all the best and I hope she keeps following her dream in Poland.

In these years I also had the help of my friends from Malaga, who were always there for me. I think of them as more than just friends, but as my family and I'm really glad to be able to live with them and share this with them.

During this degree there have been times in which I felt like I wasn't actually learning anything and I still don't know how much of what I am today is thanks to it, but I hope that it will help me becoming who I want to be and going to where I want to be. Right now I will have to focus on my languages and on getting a job (if I find one..)

Well, I leave with the hope of a new future to come!

Japan Week in Granada

Hiiiii!
These last weeks have been veeeeery busy with lots of activities and stuff to do!
The first week of april (31st March - 6th April) was the Japan Week in Granada to celebrate 400 years of international relations between Spain and Japan, yay! And the University of Granada and CrossOver Association organized a wonderful week!
But what's even better than that is.... MY ALIEN FRIENDS CAME TOO! So I managed to spend a week with them doing fun stuff together ;^;

¡Hola!

Pero lo mejor fue... ¡que mis amigas aliens vinieron también! Así que pude disfrutar con ellas una semana divirtiéndonos un montón ;^;

We started the week veeeeery tired because we went to sleep late and we couldn't get out of the bed early as we wanted (there was a taiko concert that monday morning), but we went to some other speeches about music (some of them not so interesting).
On Tuesday, though, we had our first try at kumihimo, a Japanese ancient handcraft. My results were not so good...

We also tried shôdo, but I wasn't very good at it either... It was very cool, though, and I would like to learn more about it <3

There were some restaurants that had prepared some special dishes for this japanese week, so we went to try some... and did silly stuff, of course xD

One night I wanted to try my new lenses for my Jean cosplay and this happened...

We also went to a tea ceremony held by the wonderful Eiko Kishi-san <3

On Saturday I participated in the little matsuri we had in Granada and I explained and showed how to put on a shironuri makeup. I was a little bit afraid, since I usually never leave the house without makeup and I'm bad at explaining myself, so...

(Alien... henshin!)

(I made the shawl in a weekend... 8''''D //// Hice el chal en un fin de semana... 8''''D)

After that, we had lunch (I took off the shironuri makeup first, because I still can't eat without getting white paint everywhere, even if I seal it...) and quickly went back to get a seat to see how to put on a kimono <3

(Sorry for the crappy pictures, but the lighting was awful... D: )

My friends had to leave afterwards and I was a bit sad, since there were more activities scheduled for that evening (party with japanese students, yay!) and a picnic on the next day...
It rained the whole week, but on saturday the sky cleared up and on sunday it was a wonderful day to spend in the fields, eating and talking.

(Edamame~)

And here it ends my entry about the Japan Week. I'll be updating soon with some pictures of the last Fashion Walk in Tenerife during Easter and this weekend there's an anime/manga/comic convention here in Granada, so expect new stuff soon! <3
See you soon!!!

Lolita Desu giveaway, Funko and more!

Hiiii!

Sorry for the lack of updates, but my life has been pretty boring lately. Basically going back and forth to the university, studying and getting ready for my trip in July! I'm so excited to see my friends again that I don't even care if I have to spend a whole night at the Narita airport all alone (are there any aliens who want to join me?). It will be over a year since I met some of them.
I will also be in Italy in June, right in between my finals (who thought it would be a good idea to put an exam on June 6th and the next on July 1st????). I want to see my friend Silvia (same name, yay >v</) and enjoy some free time with my family.

I forgot to upload some pictures of the Valentine's Day donuts I made for my alien friends, since we spent the day together. I'm still not used to this celebration and it was my first time actually doing something for this day...

(Seriously, light in my kitchen is the worst... /// La luz de mi cocina es horrrrriiible...)

And last week I went to buy my Ficzone tickets and the shop had recently got some Funko mistery boxes. I just couldn't resist and got two of them, so these are making me company now...

This week I also received my prize for the Lolita Desu giveaway! I've been wanting one of these fluffy stars since I landed on this planet, so it made me super happy to be one of the winners! <3

This weekend I went to one of my favourite shops here in Granada. It sells vintage clothes, shoes and accessories and lately they have brought super cute romantic dresses <3

I plan on using this dress for my shironuri "show" in two weeks, so I'll try to put a notice here, so if there's anyone who wants to see me, you can come <3

And this is all for today! I hope I can update more frequently (my alien friends are coming to see me soon, so I'll be probably posting more often). See you soon!

Mission: Granada Japan Weekend, Bubble Tea and more!

Hi!

Here I am again, I hope you liked my last entry, even without pictures. This week has been a little strange for me and both good and bad stuff happened.
Last weekend I went out again with my flatmate's friends (yes, we hang out together a lot!) because I needed some air and we went to a tipical cafe here in Granada in the old side of the city.

Super yummy carrots+yogur+honey milkshake <3

We also visited some vintage shops (there are a lot in Granada). I think earthly clothes from older times are rather cute and they're very comfy! But they're also a bit expensive T_T
In that shop I found some beautiful red shoes that made me look like the witch from a movie my friends showed me long time ago, but I had to leave them there...

Yôkai Halloween edition! I want to make an outfit inspired on a yôkai one day! (I've been investigating on them for a while and they're veeeery interesting!)

And this weekend I met again with the lovely Meilin and we went together to the Granada Japan Weekend. It was soooo crowded that we couldn't barely see anything from the stands! We had to walk by them a lot of times and wait for a while before we could have a glimpse. We found some other lolitas and we chatted a bit with them, they were very cute <3
People also kept asking for pictures and at the entry they said I was the most original person of the day u//u That made me blush a little, because it's strange to be told that when you're an alien!
There was also a suuuuper annoying group that was hugging people without notice and I didn't quite like that. I hate when strangers touch me, so in the end I just had to shout at them to make them go away T_T I know I probably seemed nasty, but I really can't stand it. On my planet peoplen don't behave like that, so I'm not really used to it.

I love her outfits <3 She matched so well her hair with her clothes!

My own outfit! Shironuri again 8D

Hat: Claire's
Wig: Bodyline
Scarf: Mango
Dress: H&M
Hoodie: I can't really remember...
Accessories: Claire's, handmade by my friends, random shops

I was an alien witch! And yes, I brought my Scalemate (it's a dragon from a veeeery nice comic on the internet, which is quite famouse among aliens on Earth) because I thought it matched my outfit! Also handmade by a dear friend (the same who did the Sailor Moon brooch, actually!)

Meilin met a friend that she can't see very ofter, so here it is a picture for her! <3
After that, we went to drink bubble tea (an AWESOME drink from Earth, I wish I could bring it on my planet!) because we were suuper tired after a few hours at the Japan Weekend. We both took cherry flavour, but I added milk to mine <3

Mr. Purple + Usakumiya!

Then we both headed back home (stopping at a mediaeval market we spotted on the way, it was too dark for good pictures, sorry! I was super amused by all the ancient stuff they had brought and I had a chance to see a bit from the Earthly Middle Ages) and I finished making dinner for the ITALIAN NIGHT!
My flatmate and I had the idea to make dinner themes and for the first one we decided to go for the italian, since I was there on a mission for a long time before my ship landed in Spain.
Late in the evening there was a theme party at a disco near my house and I wanted to go, but I was afraid to go alone, so Pau let me experiment with her a bit!

It was funny to do her make up, even if in the end we stayed only for a little while at the disco because I was very tired.
Meilin asked me to make a shironuri tutorial, so I'll probably start to work on it next weekend (I have a HORRIBLE schedule that doesn't allow me to do anything during the week!). I've never done a tutorial, any tips? D:

See you soon!!

Last weekend

Hiii!!!

This week I've been very busy (apparently, I'm allergic to something on this planet, so I'm trying to figure out what it is) but here have some pictures from last weekend.
My roommate Melon was going to a new shopping centre they opened here in Granada with his friends and he asked me if I wanted to go too <3

The shopping centre is quite big and it has all sorts of shops. There were a lot of cute displays but I forgot to take a picture because I was so buys looking everywhere T__T

As there is a supermarket inside, we bought some food and sat on the grass (fake grass anyway... I didn't really understand why there was a spot like that). This is Paula (or "Glasses Pau", as everyone calls her xD)

Those are "Red Pau" (yes, we have two Paulas, so someone made up those nicknames) and Olga. They're always so funny!

And this is my roommate Melon, getting poked by Glasses Pau.

Strawberry socks! I'm absolutely in love with them <3

My penguin backpack from Claire's (another WONDERFUL place on Earth, they sell absolutely cute stuff <3) and my umbrella. When I open it, it's like it's not raining =D

Group picture of the "artists"!

I just found this picture very cute, so I'm uploading it anyway. Glasses Pau was playing with the fake grass.

AND FINALLY! This is my cutie kitten Sunshine. She fell from the sky (just like me) on August, when I was still on my Mother Ship. They're taking care of her there, because I couldn't bring her with me on my ship (strict animals policy). She's a lot bigger now but this is the last picture I took of her, I don't really know what she was doing... Maybe some dance from her own planet?

This is all for today, thank you for reading my space journal! <3
