I'll be back in a week!

Hi!

This time I'm not updating with some news from my trip or anything else. I just want to say that my ship and I are going to Italy to receive new instructions from Mother Ship, since there's been some issues that have yet to be resolved. I hope this doesn't interfere with my missions...

Anyway, I'll be back on the 21st, so don't worry, it won't be too much time without me! <3
See you soon!

Mission: Russian summer 3

Hi again!
I'm trying to update more frequently these days because next week I'm going to be on a spacejournay that's going to take all of my time >_<
Anyway, our days in Moscow finally came to an end and our real trip really began! Our actual destination was Voronezh, so more Angela's friends came to our hotel (bye-bye, morning crows!) and we went together to the train station, making a stop by the way to buy some food for the trip.

(Sorry if my face looks a little strange, but I'm actually a bit afraid of heights and bridges.... Also, worst outfit every, but I wanted to be comfy during our 7+hours train trip)

This was my second long trip on a train and I enjoyed it a lot! We travelled during the day, so we could see the beautiful russian forests along the trails. I was amazed by everything I saw, it was like a whole different planet!
We arrived to Voronezh late at night and Sveta came to pick us up at the station and take us to the place where we were going to stay.
Honestly, when we got this scholarship, nobody told us what to expect. We didn't know where we were going to stay, how many hours we would study, etc. We didn't know ANYTHING at all. So it was a great surprise to have a bedroom each (mine was actually for two people! It was so big!) and our own kitchen, toilet and bathroom (we heard terrifying stories about shared bathrooms in dormitories in Russia).
And our surprise was even bigger when we were told that we were going to get extra money!!! I didn't even need to change mine during our stay.

The next day our teacher met us and showed us the city. And our first impression of it was... BUSES! Yeah, you're not mistaken. Buses really caught our attention because they were... old. Really, really old. Like from 20 years ago? XD It was really strange for us because we're used to "new" buses (at least, not SO old). There were even signs written in Swedish or something like that and we didn't really understand why they were there. Voronezh is not near Sweden at all o_o

(Of course, in Russia there are Lenin statues every 20mts XD)

(And in front of them, as many Pushkin statues, which is even more hilarious)

(We had to memorize one of his poems, and I remember it even now x_x)

(I don't know how I managed to get two pictures of the street so empty...)

(Yes, me + random animals. Well, actually, the dog isn't so random, but anyway....)

At this point we sat down for a while because we were really tired, so we started to spoke a bit with our teacher (in Russian, of course x3). I still think my Russian isn't so good, but I managed to survive the whole month!

I'll update again with more pictures, I don't want to spam you all at once >_>U

See you soon! <3

Mission: Russian Summer 2

Hiii!

Again, sorry for the delay but between Halloween, family issues and all, I haven't been able to update. Having family on other planets (and even on the same planet but in other countries) can be really hard.
Anyway, I'm going to keep updating on my russian summer (yeah, a few months later and nearly in winter but...)

On the second day I was more tired than the previous, obviously because of the endless walking + not many hours of sleep. Another good friend of Angela picked up us to show new places.
I was very surprised that we stood super near the park that opens the story of The Master and Margarita. I was very happy to be there and feel the atmosphere <3

(Do not talk with strangers!)

While we were there, I found a crow's feather, that later magically disappeared from my purse (I didn't even open it! And I love crows, as I already said T_T ).
We kept walking and walking and coming across statues and monuments... Moscow is filled with history!

We then visited an orthodox church. It was my very first time and I didn't know what should I do when entering. In the end I just did the same everybody did (I'm not very familiar with some christian manners).

There was a sand museum next to the church and we got inside for a little bit.

After seeing 2376634 brides in a park near the church, we walked to the bridge to sit down and have a rest before looking for the art museum.

(We got this drink on a stand near the church, it was veeeery good and I could've had 10 more!)

(There were at least other ten trees like this!)

(In front of the art museum, where I feel in love with Vrubel <3 )

(My first RUSSIAN meal X3)

And this is all about our second day in Moscow! I had a great time with Antonina (she also spoke Italian and I was glad to use it for a while) and of course I really enjoyed everything we saw <3

Until the next update! <3

Mission: Russian summer 1

Hiii!

Sorry for keeping you waiting but I had a veeery busy week and I didn't really go out last weekend (supermarket doesn't count).
Anyway, I'm here to show a very important mission I was on this summer. For once, the university did something good and granted me the chance to go to Russia for a month and, luckily, one of my best friends was chosen too! She knows from a long time ago that I'm an alien, but she doesn't care (and she's quite strange to be from Earth, I have to say that).

(Yes, we had to go from Malaga to Zurich, from Zurich to Geneva and from Geneva to Moscow Domodedovo)

We were in Moscow for the first three days. The first day I was totally jet-lagged, because we started our trip the day before and we arrived the day after at 3am but we arrived at our hotel later. And we had to get up early, because my friend's friends were going to show us the city.

(With my other two brave companions! X3 )

There was sooo much to see! I couldn't help taking pictures at every step I took, so please, bear with me just for once! It was my first time on this part of Earth!

(I fell in love with russian crows)

(And yeeees, that's me! Well, actually that was me before I cut my hair later this summer. Sorry for the "I'm horribly tired, please kill me" face)

(It didn't really work, but one has to try, right?)

And of course, when you to Moscow you HAVE to visit the Krasniy Ploshad! Everything was so big I couldn't fit anything at all in one picture.

(My dear friend Angela! We both look so tired!)

We walked from 12am to 8pm and we visited sooo many places! My feet hurt a lot when we got back to the hotel!
By the way, there are no pictures from the subway because it seems like there's a new law that doesn't allow people to take pictures or even draw there! So, I'm really sorry about that, because it's really beatiful and each station is different. Taking the subway is another MUST at Moscow.

(Balshoi Teatr! It was big as its name, it didn't fit the picture either D: )

(We couldn't stay in Moscow and not at least waving at the Duma, saying hi to the Super President, Mr. Putin xD)

(I'm a big fan fo "Master and Margarita" and when my friend's friends said we were going to see the Arbat, I was super happy!)

(The famous hotel Margarita crashes!)

(A wonderful wall for a wonderful artist <3 )

I don't want to make an endless entry about my russian summer, so I'll split it, okay? We really saw a lot of stuff and it would be too much just for an entry, so stay tuned for more!
