December Fashion Inspiration

Hiiii!
Since the "Christmas" holidays (some sort of traditional holiday, I bet you earthlings know more about it than me =3 ) started yesterday, I came back to Mother Ship for a few days.
These previous days I had all sort of things happening to me (getting sick, exams, crazy russian teachers, etc.) but at least now I can sleep all day long without having to wake up at a certain time.
Early this month I went to a "kawaii"exhibition with my friend Meilin but all the pictures are on my phone and I still don't understand how it works =_= (different technology is hard D8 ).
Anyway, I wanted to show you my fashion inspiration for this month, since I'm having two events later in December.

Lately I haven't dressed in black&white, but I've been more on the colorful side, as you see! I wish I could dye my hair in crazy colors, but I'm afraid to damage it since I don't know what effects Earth dyes may have on me...
I'll be updating with pictures from the events, so keep reading!!! <3

Mission: Russian summer 4

Hi!

I'm so sorry for the delay! After I came back from Italy, I had to reorganize my classes and study all the weekends because all my teachers decided to put exams NOW.
But I still have very good news! Finally I managed to get a mission in a place I've been longing to go from a long a time... Yes, you guessed right! I'm going to Japan next summer! <3
I've yet to organize the trip and everything, because I'll be travelling to Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo, but I'm really excited! There's still a lot of time until then, and it doesn't seem real to me...

Anyway, I still haven't finished telling how my mission in Russia went.
The teacher had showed us most of the city, which was very important during IIWW.

We saw nearly everything you could see in Voronezh! XD

During those days, I had the chance to meet one of my friend's best friends, Max. I spent little time with him, but he's such a nice (and good-looking, I know Angela's reading this xD) guy.

We went to this strange medieval-like restaurant and I had a great time with everyone <3

We went a lot of times to Svetlana's house and her mother was always cooking something for us <3

Some days later we went on a little trip to the woods. There was a natural museum, where there were lots of (dead) animals. I'm not posting pictures because I know some of you may don't like it, but I assure you that none of those animals were killed with the purpose of taking them to the museum.

By the way, I'm going to say that the walk through the woods was beautiful... but I'm never going to set foot there! I don't know why (maybe because I'm from another planet and my blood is different) but mosquitoes were all over me! When I came back home I was like a giant swollen red ball T__T
In the next weeks, we visited this church which was built by Peter The Great (I love how his name sounds in English, we were repeating it all the time) and a war museum!

We also went with Max and one of his friends to a beautiful house from the 19th c. It was an awesome day and it ended more awesomely (it started raining a lot, we invited Max to our apartment and in the end we were all drinking vodka).

(Full moon from my bedroom <3 I spent a lot of time writing by my window)

And this is one of the most strange places we went! It was a restaurant decorated like it was a sovietic apartment xD

(Red drink, OF COURSE!)

(We always recognized our bus stop with this giant red pyramid XD)

(Our lovely teacher, whom I'll never forget <3)

And this is all, my friends. I saw lot of places and lot of people. I learned a lot. I spoke Russian and probably improved it a bit. I now have a visa on my passport that says I've been in Russia. And it was a wonderful summer with one of my best friends, Angela. I love travelling with her <3

Now I have to arrange my trip to Japan! It will be another awesome summer, I will finally see my friends there and see everything I've been longing to see and feel by myself, not through pictures.

I hope I get my camera back soon, so I can post more updated entries and not bore you with all this old stuff! XD

I'll be back in a week!

Hi!

This time I'm not updating with some news from my trip or anything else. I just want to say that my ship and I are going to Italy to receive new instructions from Mother Ship, since there's been some issues that have yet to be resolved. I hope this doesn't interfere with my missions...

Anyway, I'll be back on the 21st, so don't worry, it won't be too much time without me! <3
See you soon!

Mission: Russian summer 3

Hi again!
I'm trying to update more frequently these days because next week I'm going to be on a spacejournay that's going to take all of my time >_<
Anyway, our days in Moscow finally came to an end and our real trip really began! Our actual destination was Voronezh, so more Angela's friends came to our hotel (bye-bye, morning crows!) and we went together to the train station, making a stop by the way to buy some food for the trip.

(Sorry if my face looks a little strange, but I'm actually a bit afraid of heights and bridges.... Also, worst outfit every, but I wanted to be comfy during our 7+hours train trip)

This was my second long trip on a train and I enjoyed it a lot! We travelled during the day, so we could see the beautiful russian forests along the trails. I was amazed by everything I saw, it was like a whole different planet!
We arrived to Voronezh late at night and Sveta came to pick us up at the station and take us to the place where we were going to stay.
Honestly, when we got this scholarship, nobody told us what to expect. We didn't know where we were going to stay, how many hours we would study, etc. We didn't know ANYTHING at all. So it was a great surprise to have a bedroom each (mine was actually for two people! It was so big!) and our own kitchen, toilet and bathroom (we heard terrifying stories about shared bathrooms in dormitories in Russia).
And our surprise was even bigger when we were told that we were going to get extra money!!! I didn't even need to change mine during our stay.

The next day our teacher met us and showed us the city. And our first impression of it was... BUSES! Yeah, you're not mistaken. Buses really caught our attention because they were... old. Really, really old. Like from 20 years ago? XD It was really strange for us because we're used to "new" buses (at least, not SO old). There were even signs written in Swedish or something like that and we didn't really understand why they were there. Voronezh is not near Sweden at all o_o

(Of course, in Russia there are Lenin statues every 20mts XD)

(And in front of them, as many Pushkin statues, which is even more hilarious)

(We had to memorize one of his poems, and I remember it even now x_x)

(I don't know how I managed to get two pictures of the street so empty...)

(Yes, me + random animals. Well, actually, the dog isn't so random, but anyway....)

At this point we sat down for a while because we were really tired, so we started to spoke a bit with our teacher (in Russian, of course x3). I still think my Russian isn't so good, but I managed to survive the whole month!

I'll update again with more pictures, I don't want to spam you all at once >_>U

See you soon! <3

Mission: Russian Summer 2

Hiii!

Again, sorry for the delay but between Halloween, family issues and all, I haven't been able to update. Having family on other planets (and even on the same planet but in other countries) can be really hard.
Anyway, I'm going to keep updating on my russian summer (yeah, a few months later and nearly in winter but...)

On the second day I was more tired than the previous, obviously because of the endless walking + not many hours of sleep. Another good friend of Angela picked up us to show new places.
I was very surprised that we stood super near the park that opens the story of The Master and Margarita. I was very happy to be there and feel the atmosphere <3

(Do not talk with strangers!)

While we were there, I found a crow's feather, that later magically disappeared from my purse (I didn't even open it! And I love crows, as I already said T_T ).
We kept walking and walking and coming across statues and monuments... Moscow is filled with history!

We then visited an orthodox church. It was my very first time and I didn't know what should I do when entering. In the end I just did the same everybody did (I'm not very familiar with some christian manners).

There was a sand museum next to the church and we got inside for a little bit.

After seeing 2376634 brides in a park near the church, we walked to the bridge to sit down and have a rest before looking for the art museum.

(We got this drink on a stand near the church, it was veeeery good and I could've had 10 more!)

(There were at least other ten trees like this!)

(In front of the art museum, where I feel in love with Vrubel <3 )

(My first RUSSIAN meal X3)

And this is all about our second day in Moscow! I had a great time with Antonina (she also spoke Italian and I was glad to use it for a while) and of course I really enjoyed everything we saw <3

Until the next update! <3
